Mali Kinderhilfe in Liechtenstein e.V. (2025)

Mali
2025-2026

In brief

Mali Kinderhilfe in Liechtenstein e.V. has developed a sport for good programme that has strengthened the rural region of Manankoroni in Mali; the continued co-operation ensures an improved village life, and a youth that is grown more and more together with increased team spirit and with a better balance in everyday life.

Problem to be tackled

The programme gives continued perspectives and opportunities to street children and children from socially disadvantaged families in rural Mali.

Local partner

Mali Kinderhilfe in Liechtenstein e.V. is going to continue the “Manankoroni Sports Centre” housing football, basketball and handball. The initiative includes sport days, tournaments, community festivals, specific girls’ programmes and the creation of a women’s team as well as the formation of a team to play in the football league in and of the capital Bamako.

Beneficiaries

The children who live in the Manankoroni district can be seen as the main beneficiaries; the project focuses on the age group eight to 16 years olds, girls and boys, children from socially disadvantaged families as well as street children.

SOL’s contribution

With the support from The SOL Foundation, Mali Kinderhilfe in Liechtenstein e.V. will be able to continue a dedicated sport programme which has been developed over the last four years.

Project partner
